UPDATE – Sim Update 10 is landing on Tuesday, August 23, with the updated public Beta still ongoing. Read installation instructions of the optional Sim Update 10 Beta if you wish to participate. The next Dev Live Stream, aka Dev Q&A Live, will be held on Thursday, August 18 at 17:30 UTC.

Every Thursday, updated feedback snapshots of the Microsoft Flight Simulator top bugs and wishes for the upcoming Sim Updates and World Updates are published. Sim Update, aka SU, introduces new features, bug fixes and enhances the overall experience every few months. World Update, aka WU, is mostly a regional upgrade of satellite imagery and elevation data for a country or a few at a time. The head of MSFS and the developers at Asobo Studio goes through the development roadmap during the Developer Q&A Live sessions monthly. There are a total of 24 top bugs and dozens of top wishes listed, reported through Zendesk and official Forums by the community. In 2022, Microsoft plans to release six Sim Updates, as well as six additional World Updates, and a Top Gun: Maverick expansion pack, for free.
