World Update 7 on January 31

UPDATE: Feedback snapshots are updated, scroll down. The next Developer Q&A Live will be on Wednesday, January 26 at 18:30 UTC. World Update 7 will cover Australia with updated satellite imagery, a new digital elevation model, and a bunch of point-of-interest on January 31. The bug fixes only containing Sim Update 8 is expected on February 22.

Every Thursday, updated feedback snapshots of the Microsoft Flight Simulator‘s top bugs and wishes for the upcoming Sim Updates and World Updates are published. Sim Update, aka SU, introduces new features, bug fixes and enhances the overall experience every few months. World Update, aka WU, is mostly a regional upgrade of satellite imagery and elevation data for a country or a few at a time. The head of MSFS and the developers at Asobo Studio goes through the development roadmap during the Developer Q&A Live session monthly. There are a total of 24 top bugs and a total of 48 top wishes listed, reported through Zendesk and official Forums by the community. Click each image below for the original larger size. In 2022, Microsoft plans to release six Sim Updates, as well as six additional World Updates, and a Top Gun: Maverick expansion pack, for free.
